How to Delete Your Data

DocSafe gives you full control over your data. You can delete your data using any of the following methods:

1. Delete Individual Documents

• Open the document you want to delete
• Tap the Delete button
• Confirm deletion
• This permanently removes the document and its associated files from your device and cloud backup (if enabled)

2. Delete a Category & All Its Documents

• Go to Settings → Manage Categories
• Tap the delete icon on the category you want to remove
• Confirm deletion
• This permanently removes the category and all documents within it

3. Delete All Local Data

• Uninstall the DocSafe app from your device
• This removes all locally stored documents, categories, settings, and your saved PIN

4. Delete Cloud Backup Data

If you used the cloud backup feature, your data is stored in Google Firebase. To request complete deletion of your cloud data:
